I dont know about demoting any players or not, but i am sure of one thing that i will be firing 3-4 players for sure : they are not even active :

Instead of firing, Demote them one level.

i.e from PC ---> PCA ----> Waiting List ----> " You can Take Rest from the game"

I am safe... I am still able to stay in PC XI squad. But my perfomance is not bad, so I am for PC XI for a longest time...
