Good to see myself in the team again...Guys I wont be able to post alot coz I m on vacation and then I will be shifting to Canada so I wont be able to post much!
Well...I have a comment...Y not have and official tv overlay for CCPC??
That was another tough day for us I guess, we are finding difficult to get used to the Twenty20 format.
Two positives are,
1) We did play full 20 overs which was the basic thing we forgot in previous match.
2) Bowlers did well to make the opponents take 18 overs to finish that 120 total. I guess, another 20-30 runs would have made a difference.
I am not happy with my performance. I got only 1 run and my team lost a match & also series. Need some change in my batting style or batting position in Twenty20.
Tough luck for PC XI. The batsmen didn't do as well as they should've. At one point we were 86/7 ! (Not a bad day for me with an unbeaten 16* and an economic 4-0-17-0 ) By the way, since when am I a bowling opener? And Amodh bowled more than 5 overs once again, where 4 is allowed in a 20-20 match. But one thing is for sure- though PC XI doesn't have any chance of winning the series, they will be trying to win the last match, and in order to do that, they will need to work on their batting the most.
That was another big win for the Kiwis! Vettori's bowling was very good! It was tough luck for us, but the Kiwis deserved the win! We should now try to win the 3rd T20 match !
We lost . The batting was quite poor another 20 runs might have done it. My batting was okay, 21* from 18 balls, but the New Zealand bowlers were just too good. Our bowling did well to try to defend our small total but it wasn't enouh. As a off-spinner I was a little expensive which help contribute to our lost. Better luck next time.
A question. Are the captains notified of the pitch conditions to base their squad selection on? Like choosing seam bowlers on green pitches.
