GOBLINS V/S BRIGADES ​

DAY 1​

Welcome everyone to Perth. we have a great First class match between the two great teams Goblins and Brigades.

Its going to be a sunny day.. the pitch is dry...

The brigades have won the toss and Surren the captain of Brigades team has no hesitation in electing to Bat first......

The atmosphere is electrifying... the Stadium is packed and the crowd is waiting for the action to begin.....

Goblins are getting ready for the action.....

First Session​

Brigades have gone for a cautious start and the first session is slighlty in favour of Brigades as they have scored 98 Runs for the loss of one wicket only...... Goblins had got only one success in the first session.. they would try to get more in the second session..

Second Session​

The second session started and this time goblins came out with a plan of not giving easy runs to the batsmen... they bowled with a tight line and length and made sure that Brigades have to earn the runs..... the Second session finished with Brigades making 71 runs in the session without losisng any wicket..

The captain desparetly wants to get couple of wickets before going for the Tea break...

Final Session​

The final session started and Brigades wanted to score runs more qiuckly in the final session and they had plenty of wickets in hand.. on the other hand Goblins wanted to get both this batsmen out...

In this session both the batsmen brought up there maiden Centuries.....

they could not score quickly... just adding 77 Runs in the final session for the loss of 1 Wicket..

Ashwin was unlcuky to get out to the captain Gamerkidd who is a part timer.. he brought himself on as they were not getting any wicket and he was successful in getting the wicket in the very first over he bowled..

Ashwin getting out in the 90th OVer of the day...... That ended the 208 Runs partnership for the second wicket between Giggity and Ashwin... Suren was deligthed to see Ashwin scoring a 100 as he took the gamble of opening the batting from AShwin inspite of having KX in the team.....

Hope we can hit some quick runs at the start of Day 2 and declare, and get one or two quick wickets...
The match will be under control if we are successful in doing that....

First Session​

the 2nd Day started with Brigades on 246 for 2 from 93 overs with a net runrate of 2.65 Runs per over... they tried to accelerate but could not score qiuckly enough and the captain decided to declare with the score at 306 for 2... they could just add 60 runs from the 22 OVers with RR of 2.73 Runs per over.... GOblins had to bat 5 ovrs before lunch....

Goblins started of blasting the bowlers and by the end of first session the opening pair put on 29 Runs.....

Second Session​

The second session started and this time Goblins were palying carefully so that they dont loose the wickets... Finally the opening partnership was broken when the score was 87 runs... the session was slow as Goblins added just 85 RUns in the session for the loss of one wicket..

Final Session​

The third session started Goblins were in no hurry and they scored 89 Runs for the loss of 3 Wickets in the session... Briggsey scoring a briliant half century... finally Goblins ended the day on 203/4 from 74 Ovrs with a net runrate of 2.74 Runs per over... still trailing Brigades by 103 Runs..... The match is balance at this stage with all the three results possible....

Now Goblins' innings delaration will be at 307 runs. This pitch is green but out seam bowlers' failed to use it.

But still match is not over guys. Come on and put our score to 307 and then bowl again but this time get wickets quickly.....

Well done Giggity...
Goblins are already 4 down... If they however reach +1 run and declare, then we need to score atleast 300 runs, as it will be difficult for them to score runs in the last innings...
