Interview with Ravi Shastri
Welcome to our show Cricketchat. I am your host Ravi Shastri. Today We have a special guest with us. He was a curse for the bowlers. He was known as the Wall in the Green Goblins Team. Ladies and gentlemen let’s welcome Shubhrayu of the Royal Ramblers.
RS: Shubhrayu welcome to our show
Shubhrayu: Thanks Ravi
RS: So now you have a team called Royal Ramblers with you. Last CCPC season most of the members of the Royal Ramblers were in your opposite team Blue Brigades. How is the environment with them in the dressing room.
Shubhrayu: It’s really good to be here. We’ve got really great guys. I’ve learnt many things from our coach Surendar. As usual Sid keeps on cracking jokes but while practice all are serious. Best thing is that they all enjoy the game.
RS: Looking at the current T20 series your team doesn’t have the lead. What do you think is needed for success in the current Series?
Shubhrayu: In the current T20 series we’re thinking of trying new guys. Captain Viral is positive that is really good and all we need is hard work and concentration on the game to win it. As it is I don’t consider T20 as a true form of Cricket because if it’s your day you’re great if it’s not you’re a total flop. You cannot get a player by seeing his T20 skills.
RS: So Shubhrayu what are your future plans?
Shubhrayu: Yeah I am looking forward to the Tests and OD series and I hope I perform well in the tests and OD’s and surely I’ll put my hundred percent for the team. KX is an experienced campaigner and he’s an experienced Captain too. We have some great players. We’ll do well for sure.
RS: Shubhrayu finally what are your plans for your national team India?
Shubhrayu: Of Course We have many guys from Ramblers and Warriors in the Indian team. Of course I’ll need to play my role in the upcoming Champions Trophy in the Sub-Continent. We’ve won a game with Australia which is really great and I am sure of success in the upcoming season.
RS: Shubhrayu how do you manage to reunite your Indian team because these guys play for different squads in the domestic circuit. How do you manage to get them together?
Shubhrayu: Ravi you know it doesn’t matter that in the domestic level where we play and for what we play. But when these boys come in the Blue jersey to play for the nation they are a single unit. They are playing for the nation that time.
RS: Thanks Shubhrayu we’ve had a great Time with you. We all enjoyed it.
Shubhrayu: My Pleasure Thanks a lot Ravi.
Shubhrayu is the mastermind behind this (he has prepared it..)
