Welcome to our show Cricketchat. I am your host Harsha Bhogle. Today We have a very popular cricketer from CCPC joining us. He is the fastest bowler to play CCPC and is famous for his open views on cricket. He is Scion Sid.


HB: Sid welcome to our show.

Sid: Thanks Harsha its pleasure to be part of this show.

HB: We know you are the fastest bowler in CCPC but does that pressurize you?

Sid: Well ever since I picked up bowl in my hand as a kid I wanted to bowl fast. When I joined CCPC as a rookie I was encouraged by our legendary captain who he now coach of our side, Surender, to bowl as fast as I can.

Having senior pros like Usy and KX also helped me lot. Our bowling coach has been excellent in making sure that we attain our full potential.

HB: But you have very ordinary record in T20 games?

Sid: Well T20 is nighmare for bowler HB and especially if you are quick. The edges fly for sixes as batsman dont worry about loosing wickets and gop hard at bowling.
I have been given role to control the innings from getting momentum in start and bowl at death. I think I have done well just that wickets have eluded me.

HB: How is dressing room atmosphere after a lot of changes this season?

Sid: Well I am lucky to be playing in company of some great playeHB. Viral is always giving inputs about the game. He seems to have followed from where Surender had left. Then Aamir and KX are always upto pranks.

The young guys like Tuaha, GG and Ursonly have been keeping us at smiles by their jokes. Then we have Subharyu and Vicky who have been doing all the planning and execution part with team management. Shantanu and Xuzuno are two guys you dont wanna mess with.

They can really beat the hell out off you. But I dearly miss Vaiby. He was the fiHBt one in practice and last one to leave. Hope he recoveHB soon from his mysterious illness.

HB: How do you find facing you old teammates who are now in WarrioHB team?

Sid: At fiHBt it was odd bowling to those guys. But then as the matches have progressed the rivalry seems to be coming infront. Ofcouse they will be friends off field but once on field we are oppositions.

HB: You have been made Vice Captain for Test matches? Any comments?

Sid: Well its a honour to be vice captain in CCPC. I consider myself lucky as there were other strong cobntendeHB aswell.

HB: Any message for your fans?

Sid: Well I will just like to say Thank You to all our fans who have been supporting us even after loosing 4 straight games. Hopefully we can win the T20 series and then Test and ODIs as well for them.

HB: Well Sid it was nice talking to you.

Sid: Same here. Its pleasure to share our thaughts with otheHB.
