Wow congrats Shubh, i hope that very soon you will be representing the Indian national team :cheers

Hello Everybody. Good Morning and the warmest welcome to the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia for the 5th ODI between Royal Ramblers and Counter Warriors. The Counter Warriors lead the series 3-1. The sun the out but the weather is quite pleasant. I'm sure the players would love to play in these conditions. The pitch is typical Aussie hard pitch. As flat as I can be. It'll have even bounce and good carry through to the wicket keeper all day long. On a pitch like this it doesn't really matters whether you bat first or bowl but I think the captain who wins the toss would love to bat first and get runs on the board.

The Royal Ramblers captain Viral won the toss and elected to bat first. He indicated that this pitch will be a run fest and they will be aiming to score above 250.

Ansariaamir_leo and Ursonly11 opened the innings for the Royal Ramblers. The early morning dew was helping the seamers and the ball was swinging a bit in the air. Both the openers started off cautiously. The knew the first half hour would be crutial and the task ahead for them is to see off the half hour and also to make sure that they keep the scoreboard ticking. The openers made sure they don't loose any wicket and also kept rotating the strike. Once the ball stopped moving, it was all Royal Ramblers. They smashed the Counter Warriors all over the park. The Counter Warriors bowlers submitted to the dominating Royal Ramblers openers. they had no clue whatsoever on what line to bowl. Anything short was pushed off the back foot whereas fuller deliveries were driven hard and some were dispatched into the space. Both the openers started off brilliantly and reached their individual half centuries. At one stage it looked like the openers will bat through the innings. All Counter Warriors bowlers could do is to wait for the batsmen to make mistake. Ursonly11 was playing on 97 and thought of bringing up his century in style but unfortunately mistimed the ball and ended up handling a simple catch to Wildwill. He was unfortunate to miss on a century there. A massive partnership of 211 runs comes to end. At the other end, ansariaamir_leo was going strong. With a massive blow over mid off, he brought up his century in style. After the drought of runs in past few games, he is delighted to get a century and what a time to get it. His team needed such effort from him. But his joy ended soon when he was dismissed by Khalek on 108 runs. He did his job for the team. Karachi Xpress scored a quick fire 16 but ended up loosing his wicket. The Royal Ramblers were trying to get as many runs as they can. Viral played some brilliant scores and added agressive 32 off 20 balls. With some fire at the end by Giggity and a boundary by Shubhrayu, the Royal Ramblers see themselves well set at 280/4 at the end of 50 overs. The Royal Ramblers must be delighted with that effort and they desperately needed that. Now its on the bowlers to contain the Counter Warriors and win the match.

The Counter Warriors had a tough task ahead of them. Although the pitch aint doing much but chasing down 280 is never gonna be easy. Ashwin and Paulnixon1 started off cautiously. they had to make sure that they put up a solid foundation for the rest of the guys to chase down the target. They played some good strokes round the park but were disturbed by the bounce off the track. Together they added 133 runs. Paulnixon1 being the aggressor and also the mass scorer. He scored a brilliant 73 and at the other end, Ashwin too reached his cautious fifty. Paulnixon1 was starting to look dangerous and just then Xuzuno dismissed him. A good innings came to an end. The Royal Ramblers struck again with the other spinner Vaibhav. The Counter Warriors were 2 down now for 137 and both their set batsmen were back into the pavilion. At the crease were the most experienced batsmen of Counter Warriors, Tarzan and World_Champions. They had to start slogging right from the first ball. the run rate was growing with every dot ball and they just can't wait and play themselves in. Both of them did well and got off to a start but couldn't capitalize. World_Champions had no answer to the brilliant slower delivery bowled by Covvy and was clean bowled. Scion Sid struck from the other end. Tarzan tried to slash hard at an away swinger but ended up edging the ball into the safe hands of Karachi Xpress. The Counter Warriors were 194/4. Ledzep and Wildwill did their best to chase down the target but some brilliant bowling by Royal Ramblers never let the Counter Warriors to even seem to be coming closer to the target. At the end of 50 overs, Counter Warriors could only manage 240 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
