Hello Everyone and the warmest welcome to you. I'm your host Aamir and I'll take you through this exciting shortest official format cricket, yes its a Twenty20 match between Wild Wolverines and Lightning Lions. The pitch is flat with a bit of grass on it but the moisture in the air and cool winds will assist the bowlers throughout. Its 50-50 decision to either bat or bowl first.

Wild Wolverines captain Scion Sid won the toss and elected to bat first. He said that the conditions are bowler friendly so he would like to have a target to defend rather than letting it on his batsmen to chase down.

ansariaamir_leo and Ursonly11 opened the innings for Wild Worverines. The ball was seaming and swinging more than expected and the openers started off cautiously. In 6 overs they managed only 18 runs. ansariaamir_leo took the initiative to accelerate the innings as it was the need of the hour for Wild Wolverines. He smashed 3 glorious boundaries but in the attempt to accelerate, he ended up loosing his wicket. Wild Wolverines were 38/1. Wild Wolverines' coach Suren read the pitch and movement of the ball and asked his batsmen to stay calm and score runs as they come. Ursonly11 and Highlander999 got a partnership going. In 15 overs Wild Wolverines were 85/1. Its was the last 5 overs and with wickets in hand Wild Wolverines tried to accelerate and took every poosible risk. Ursonly11 reached his well fought fifty but was soon caught short of the crease in an attempt to steal a run. At the end of 20 overs, Wild Wolverines were 103/4. The Lions captain was happy with his bowlers performance and in the post innings interview he said that the target is achieveable and they will definitely chase it down.

On board the target seems little but can the Wild Wolverines restrict the Lightning Lions? Lets see as the Lighting Lions' opening batsmen reach the middle of the pitch. The Wild Wolverines bowlers weren't gonna give it away without a fight. They stuck to their line & length and made life difficult for the Lightining Lions' openers. At the end of 6 overs they scored 18 runs, same as the Wild Wolverines did. The match looked evenly poised at the moment and the Wild Wolverines bowlers were keeping things real tight. The Wild Wolverines were in urge of a wicket and Khalek provided them that. But it was just the 1st wicket. On the crease were 2 in-form batsmen Karachi Xpress and Giggity Giggity who has the capacity to take the game away. At the ned of 15 overs, Lighting Lions were 63-1 of which Karachi Xpress scored 41 runs and was looking dangerous. Scion Sid turned to his most experienced spinner Xuzuno and he didn't disappoint. He dismissed Karachi Xpress on the very first ball of 16th over and Wild Wolverines had some hope. Wild Wolverines struck again dismissing Amiya and it was Covvy this time who provided the breakthrough. At the end of 18 overs, Lightning Lions were 83-3 needing 21 more runs to win off 2 overs. The 19th over was really crucial and conceeded just 4 runs. Its all down to the final over. Lightning Lions require 17 runs to win. The captain Scion Sid took the ball in his hands to bowl the last over. The tension was high but he kept his cool. He displayed some brilliant display of mixing up his deliveries and conceeded Just 8 runs. What a victory for Wild Wolverines. They played superbly throughout the game and proved that they deserve to win. Wild Wolverines won this game by 8 runs.
