Hello Everyone and welcome to the CCPC Season 6 inauguration ceremony!! I'm your host Aamir and its my pleasure to be here with everyone one of you. I'm here to announce the upcoming season 6 of CCPC which promises to be bigger and better!! In the coming days we'll witness some of the finest cricketing action in all form of the game. The 5 days test matches will test the temperament and technique of the players whereas the One Day games will test their ability to perform in a shorter period and the Twenty20 matches will provide sheer entertainment as it'll test the ability of the batsmen to hit the ball hard and the bowlers' ability to avoid being hit. Entertainment is guaranteed as CCPC has already provided that in the past 5 seasons. We have players who have been here since ever, player who joined us in between and players who'll start thier careers this season. Its the players that come together to make teams, and to make CCPC.
Talking about the teams, lets have a look on which players will share the same dressing room and who will stand against whom. We'll have 3 teams in this season. The teams are pretty much same from the last season. We've juggled up some players to make things balance on the basis of activity and ofcourse, we have given chance to new captains this season. The teams are still unnamed so for now we'll call them Team A, B and C.

Format of the Competition :
Those are teams that'll compete this season. Now lets discuss the format of the competition. As in the previous seasons, we are trying something different in this season as well. The CCPC teams will tour international teams for their Test series. Every team will play 3 tests against the respective nations.
Team A will tour Australia, Team B will tour South Africa whereas Team C will tour England.

For One Day matches we will have a tournament comprising of 6 teams. 3 CCPC teams and 3 international teams namely India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the giants of Asia. In the One Day tournament, each team will play each other once and the final will be a best of 3.

And last but not the least, the Twenty20 tournament. The T20 tournament will be played amongst the 3 CCPC teams only. However the number of matches is not decided yet and we would like to hear it from the players. How many matches shall each team play against each other? 2 or 3 matches?

As you can see that we are having a smaller tournament this season as compared to last season so as to keep players interested in the season and not dragging it for too long. The fixtures will be decided soon and will be posted by Ashwin.

With this presentation, I declare the Season 6 of CCPC; Open! I would like to request regular activity from all the members. Keep posting in the main thread as there will be no team thread as per the revised rules. Remain active, keep track of the matches and most importantly, enjoy yourself. The captains are requested to include active players in the playing XI. If there are more signups then they will be drafted accordingly. The teams can use their names from previous season or can have a new name. Once the names are decided, make sure to inform me and Ashwin about it.

The team members would decide amongst them and the name with which most of the people agree will be the name Your appointment is made after your activeness in the previous season The players who remain active this season will surely get a chance next season

They are in the team as backup players. If some player is not performing well than the captain can switch them for a game or two but that happens quite rarely

Great format and great teams. Good to be captain of Tests , we have to kill South African team anyways !

And yes one more thing as we are not going to have team thread I want to suggest making social groups for teams.
