Wow nice win for us.
Great performance by Openers and in bowling by WC and sanjogmaiti.
I don't know what happens to me in Tests.:facepalm
Can I request the Captain to give me an opening slot please?
@Ashwin-In EA 07 the name is 'Garry' but actually it is 'Gary'. Please correct it.
Might be that extra 'R' there is troubling me:p

Removing a "R" from your name won't make a difference.....You People still Suck :p

It will be done..

Looking forward to the second test match of Lions against the wounded Aussies..

^ Updates coming right up. Extremely sorry for the delay. The forum's server was down yesterday, and another thing is that I'm not 100 percent fit. I've got a swollen thingy in my right eye which is blocking my sight, and it..it's really painful! Anyway, it's my responsibility to update the match- and I'll do it. Just give me another half an hour.

Lions vs Australia

Hello and welcome everybody to Adelaide for this wonderful match between two top class teams of alltime. The jubilant Lightning Lions and the supercool Kangaroo brigade! (Wow, are we inside a zoo of some sort?) Whatever it may be, let's get straight down to the toss and see who wins.

So, luck has favoured the Lions again! We have won the toss, and our skipper has decided to bat first. Not a bad decision at all in this type of a ground.

The Lions played slowly but steadily and after some early jitters, made a great recovery thanks to Kieron, Yudi and Viral. Kieron was amazing like always, and after hammering the bowlers like anything, ended up scoring a superb 150! He was an absolute treat to watch.

Viral and Yudi both played the role of his ideal partners, and kept on taking singles, and rotating the strike. All three batted like true professionals. Well done guys!

Coming to the bowling part, the Aussie bowlers had a bad bad day. All of them struggled to get us out, and though Johnson, Clark, and Siddle each picked up a wicket, they never really looked to be a threat to our batters. The Ashes defeat still hurts! :noway

Now let's see what the Aussie batters do..

Woah! This was simply unexpected. Hats off to the Kangaroos, just hats off- what a recovery! Amazing!

Do I really have to say anything here? The scorecard tells the whole story. How superbly the Aussie middle order played just cannot be expressed in words. They have exposed the miserable condition of our bowling. Really team! We need to improve tremendously as far as our bowling is concerned. That indeed was a pathetic display. Yeah, this is the first time I'm criticizing my team.

Nobody expected any result from this match, and there wasn't any result. Although this match has ended in a draw, it wasn't boring by any means. Firstly, there were Kieron's fireworks, then some great show by Hussey, Punter and the rest and finally two finely shaped innings from Amiya and KX. This match has exposed certain areas where we really need to improve, and the same can be said about Australia too. Well, overall it can be said that this was quite a learning experience. The Lions didn't put up a bad performance. Having said that, our bowlers need to work tremendously in the nets. Yeah, yeah, I'll stop repeating this same thing.

Oh well, that ends that. :) I will finish my story here- goodbye all of you. Take care. And see you soon. ;)

KC

40 overs 124 runs

Yeah you got century

Take care off eye though

Never risk the eyes. Those problems might get severe when taken less attention. So I feel, it would be better if someone from here can take over from KC until he gets alright. :)

LOL batters pitch much? I bowled exceptionally well but nobody else could, 96 runs of 40 overs!

Also, good on Aussies to play Hilfy who also owned.

That was some real Cricket 07 Test Match!
And,we all know the Lazy Lions-They Just Are So Lazy To Take Any Wickets;)
