Captain of CHOKERS team does not deserve to captain this side mate!!!:laugh

The guy who got his team to the Number 1 in the rankings, and always leads from the front. The guy who beat Pakistan in Pakistan, England in England and Australia in Australia doesn't deserve to be Captain. He rebuilt the team completely, unlike Ponting, who was given Waugh's team and lost twice to England in England. He Brought in players like De Villiers and Steyn. Gave Duminy, Van Der Merwe and Morkel a chance. The guy knows how to spot talent. Always cool and collected. Perfect Captain, who demands respect from all the players. :)

For bowling,
Wasim
Waqar
Asif
Mcgrath
Warne
Lee
All were top quality,I don't want to miss even one of them.
Batting
Tendulkar
Inzmam
Ponting
Smith
Hayden
Saeed Anwer
Muhammad Yousaf
MS Dhoni
Brain Lara
There are so many that it will be unfair to drop one of these.
Allrounder
Kallis
Razaq
Shahid Afridi
Symonds

Keepers

Moin Khan
Gilly
Boucher

it will not be fair to drop anyone of these players for me,so I have just presented a list of all which I believe must be in.

you think you could fit in any more crappy Pakistan players in there.

Asif in as a fast bowler ahead of Ntini, Pollock, Donald, Steyn, Gillespie :facepalm :doh
Moin in ahead of Sangakkara :doh:facepalm or Dhoni, you got Dhoni as a specialist batsman there.
No Flintoff for the all-rounder spot.
No Dravid, Chanderpaul, Martyn even KP.

Don't really think you need to attempt to critique send2yaari's post in too much depth, as it's obvious given the amount of Pakistani's in that list that it's a load of old toss. My teams of the decade would be:

Test's:

Matthew Hayden
Graeme Smith
Ricky Ponting
Sachin Tendulkar
Brian Lara
Jacques Kallis
Adam Gilchrist +
Shaun Pollock
Shane Warne
Muttiah Muralitharan
Glenn McGrath

ODi's:

Sachin Tendulkar
Matthew Hayden
Ricky Ponting
Jacques Kallis
Kevin Pietersen
MS Dhoni +
Andrew Flintoff
Shaun Pollock
Brett Lee
Muttiah Muralitharan
Glenn McGrath

Jacques Kallis has incredible stats btw. I wasn't 100% sure about including him but looking at the stats it's impossible not to have him in the sides. In Tests he's made 8428 runs at an unbelieveable average of 58.93 with 26 hundreds. Then in ODi's he's made 7859 runs at 47.05 with 11 hundreds. He's also picked up 205 Test wickets at 31 and 192 ODi wickets at 32. Ridiculously good player, really is massively under-rated.

can't find any fault in KP"s line ups. Though I can replace Flintoff in ODIs with someone like Symonds.

agree with your test side KP, its just about perfect.

I would make a few changes for the ODIs.

Sachin Tendulkar
Adam Gilchrist +
Ricky Ponting
Jacques Kallis
Kevin Pietersen
Michael Bevan
Andrew Flintoff
Shaun Pollock
Brett Lee
Muttiah Muralitharan
Glenn McGrath

just my opinion, your side is still killer.

Really? I always felt like he was rated fine. His wicket was always highly valued before the likes of Smith, AB, Duminy, Amla etc. We basically relied on him for the batting. If he falied, we rarely won, unless it was Gibbs's day. Batting wise I think he isn't overrated or underrated.

His bowling though is tremendously underrated. He is such a smart cricketer. He bowls nearly everything. Off cutters, Leg cutters, slower balls, bouncer, slower bouncer etc. You name it, he has it in his arsenal. He is also a known Partnership breaker. Those averages for an all-rounder are just amazing. Very much Sober-like.

Personally I feel Kallis is the greatest Modern Day Cricketer off all time. Everyone says Sachin, because he led India for so long, and is still going strong. While I agree that Sachin was/is amazing, he still had the likes of Dravid, Ganguly with him. It didn't always depend on him, as much as people make it out to be. But that wasn't the case with Kallis. We depended so much on him, it isn't even funny. Even with all the pressure he always scored. His achievements are just prolific in Cricket. Amazing player.

I also think that he is underrated, maybe just because allot of people here make their teams with bias and go for their own country's players rather then someone from another country who is better.
He could get into any side with just his batting, add his great bowling to that and he should be a shoe in for any side.

Like the look of it. Don't want KP in my ODI team though, will try to find a replacement.
