Genuine all-rounders shouldn't really be batting at 3/4, the batsmen should be there.
The only two international genuine all-rounders who do that are Kallis and Watson (I think).

Most of you are just being greedy wanting to bat and bowl.
Like Shawn who wants to bat in the top three, and bowl right arm fast, which no one in the international game does.

I agree with jayasuriya, but yuvraj gets fluke wickets when he does. elliot and styris are batsmen who bowl a little.

He's a must to bowl in Indian team and KXIP.

anyway, the lineup is for the captain to decide as last season everyone got settled into their position, so i dont see why we cant this season. You could always choose your professional players to suit your team's needs.

Lol, Sanath Jayasuriya and Yuvraj Singh are not genuine allrounders...
They are just part-timers.
Jayasuriya is kind of one, but I wouldn't call him a genuine allrounder.
Grant Elliot and Scott Styirs bat 5/6, not in the top 3/4...

Just use your batting all-rounders as batsmen and don't let thembowl

I may have to swap to becoming a wicket keeper for my team...

I think NZ needs a batsman, a keeper, an opening bowler and a regular bowler.

look at his stats Sanath Jayasuriya over 300 odi wickets and over 12,000 runs.

mccullum could be the keeper, ofcourse bond as the opener and maybe tuffey/southee??

He's better than a part-timer, but not a genuine all-rounder.

He has three hattricks to his name.
Two in IPL and one in domestic.(I think so)

if you say kallis is a genuine all-rounder then so is jayasuriya they both average 5 or so overs in ODI's.

@ Riz - I just checked, and I do actually have Jayasuriya down as an all-rounder in NZPL, so yeah...
