In past games, mihir has hit 61 from 61 and RDF got 73 from 88 once... They weren't that great in the T20s though either, apart from 68 from 46 from mihir once...

Hmmm, it's just that in both of our real opening round matches they have been slow.
Why not have you and Ryder open, with one of our current two openers coming in at three, then have me four, our other current opener at five, then Auckland Astle (wtf's with his name) at six, I would bring in Vettori for Williamson and play Dan at seven, then have our four bowlers.
That's just an idea, whatever you want.

I've tried both openers at 5 before and they both failed there :/

Yea :S I did follow a suggestion he had before though and am opening with Auckland Ace to see how he does. For the tests, I'll have the proper openers opening but since this is just ODIs, it'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
