Here is my pick

1. Brendon Hedger (AUS)
2. Auckland Ace (NZL) ^
3. Callum Gray (NZL)
4. Giggity Giggity (AUS)
5. Aussie Team (AUS)
6. Chewie (NZL) +
7. A Sharma (IND) ^
8. S McDaniel (IND) ^
9. W Waqas (IAUS) ^
10. P Raj (IND) ^
11. WORLD CHAMPIONS (AUS) ^

@ Chewie, you need all the captains in it, don't you so Aussie should be in the side. Even though I'm not captain, I would suggest having this lineup.

1. Brendon Hedger
2. Auckland Ace^
3. Callum Gray
4. RDF
5. Aussie Team
6. Chewie+
7. Akshay Sharma^
8. Nakul Shah^
9. Prithvi Raj^
10. World Champions^
11. K Khuram^

Or I could go keeper but I would be happy to play as Brendon McCullum.

ok, i'll extend the deadline to 9:00am NZT, get a lineup in by then if possible. and post it in the Social group under the appropriate thread :)

@Hedger

Well I felt that you had marginally better stats than me so you should be the one opening (I opened as well), and since you were opening then I'd be keeper.

I think your lineup is the best one though, all you've basically changed from mine is swap Giggity with Aussie Team :p

We just need sanchingr8 to come and post his opinions :)

@Aussie Team

Your lineup has 5 Australians and only 3 of the other two nations... Sartaj hasn't got very good statistics in the OD series either.

Brendon Hedger
Akshay Sharma(C):D^
A Peters
A Anubhav(wk)
A Ace^
Gazza
Giggity Giggity
Nakul^
Binnu^
World Champions^
Khurram.^

My points:

  • I can't bat at no.7 and wtf positions, I would rather opt out myself from PC XI than having that place.
  • Anubhav has been consistent and will make in the squad. So as Nakul.

Yea!! then 3 Australian, 3 New Zealanders , 3 Indians = 9, then how should be the 2 members?

@ sachin, you're bowling lineup is ok but your batting lineup is tweaked up. Auckland Ace should be in the team as a batting all-rounder. Anubhav in the lineup is stupid when Chewie is a captain/keeper and I can keep anyway and you don't have any of the captains in the team. At worst, just swap Akshay and Auckland around or because RDF isn't active, then put him down at #7 and you can bat at #4 or #5.

And the funny thing is that I'm probably the best caotain here but the only one that isn't a captain. Well I would have been but my computer stopped working at the start of this so captaincy was given to Aussie and I joined back as pretty much co-captain since I was pretty much having the final say in Aussies decisions. Anyway, I think Chewies are the less unbiased (out of the captains). I based mine completely on stats.

okay, so all of you guys have different opnions, im going to mix and match all of your lineups so we get a PC XI to play the Legends XI today.

1. Brendon Hedger (wk)
2. Auckland Astle ^
3. Callum Gray
4. Andrew Peters (^ if needed)
5. Giggity Giggity
6. Jono Choie
7. Akshay Sharma ^
8. Nakul Shah ^
9. Prithvi Raj ^
10. WORLD CHAMPIONS ^
11. Khuram ^

Now then, who will captain this team?

Possible contenders
  • Brendon Hedger
  • Jono Choie
  • Akshay Sharma
  • Andrew Peters

Riz you've got the team I suggested with RDF swapped for Giggity. And really since hedger and i are both opening wicketkeeper batsmen, the one who isn't opening should be keeping. But having Hedger as captain would work :)

Chewie added 2 Minutes and 51 Seconds later...

1. Brendon Hedger *
2. Auckland Astle ^
3. Callum Gray
4. Andrew Peters
5. Giggity Giggity/RDF
6. Jono Choie +
7. Akshay Sharma ^
8. Nakul Shah ^
9. Prithvi Raj ^
10. WORLD CHAMPIONS ^
11. Khuram ^

Is what I recommend then. sachingr8 you can't have your cake and eat it, out of the four/five openers in the team I've recommended, you batted the worst by miles of them. You were the best bowler however and I think 7 is the perfect place for you to play...

^ but you have been in the outfield while hedger hasn't. and so hedger can be captain/keeper?

i've made the roster for both teams, just needed to know if hedger was alright with keeping and captaining.

I've been in the outfield for one test...
Well if he is can I open? :)

I'm fine. It might be better for Jono to keep. I haven't taken many catches and no stumpins behind the stumps but I really don't mind. I'll captain and he can keep or whatever.

Yea I think that'd be the best. I got the keeping award one round too :)
