It may start before the group games finish if the 1/4 final qualifiers are decided. It wont start this week though, so arrange a friendly as you wish!

The PC Battrick Shield will get underway on the 26th March 06 (next sunday)

The entrance has closed and the tournament will be played with 4 groups of 3
teams, the top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the 1/4 final stage. The group games will be played home and away and the groups will be drawn using the seeding system:

Old Wulfs
Antigua All-Stars

Casino 36
Pakistani Pingers
Spinners United CCC
Challengers XI

Seed 3
The Game
Preston Panthers
Borncricketers XI
AfridiXI

This was decided by your Battrick League performance. The groups will be decided by taking 1 team from each seed. Therefore, one group cannot have TT Lions and Shane28688 in it.

Draw will be announced in the week

Please, post the group you would think would be the most difficult, easiest or most exciting group!

EDIT: Just noticed, Afridi XI isnt a team, so if a team joins, then they can replace them. If not, 1 group will be have 3 teams

Well, you'd expect all the Seed 1 teams to progress, but upset's aren't impossible. I can't see any of the 3rd seeded teams getting through though.
