Pretty disappointing performance. Wish I was called into the ODI squad considering the fact I kind of made a difference with the Gladiators in a few matches.

4 off our top 6 batsman were dismissed for single figure scores which made it the defeat inevitable undoing the good work of Ahmad. Rest of the players did try to hang in there but we ended up putting a far below par total. Bowling was right on the money but they didn't have much to defend. The third spinner would have been handy on this track but it wouldn't have changed the result I feel.

Lee Now Unsure About Kent Stint

Kristian Lee is said to be unsure about his stint with Kent. "I think the national team's needs are greater," he said to reporters today, "but it's sorted with Kent. They pay me nothing, and it's all square with them. I'm grateful for the response I received from PlanetCricket. However, after that display I think that our batsmen could use as much practice as they can get.

Also, I would be interested in exploring opportunities overseas in the future, but at the moment I think it's best I return to the United camp and work with the guys.​

Actually, the problem was more that I wouldn't feel comfortable sticking it on my stats. Especially seeing as I was using Kevin Stoute, who I thought was a mediocre bowler, and who promptly claimed 4 for 14, 2 for 18 and 4 for 14 again.
