Take that Afghans! We were just too good for them. They had their moments in the final match of the series though. First, they put up over a hundred runs on the board with the loss of just 1 wicket before the debutant Lee and other bowlers pulled them back. They had their foot in the door for the second time when our batters struggled in tough conditions as the Asians set half of our side packing with 124 on the board. Luckily, myself and another debutant Shubham got going and stitched a vital 134 runs for the 6th wicket which turned the game in our favor a bit, and the bowling in the second innings was excellent. Though the move to open the bowling with User2010 and Lee -- who was very good in the 1st innings -- didn't pay off, myself and Andrews got the wickets at just about right time and push breaks on the minnow side. In the end, the batsmen chased the modest total with great ease to seal the 3-0 series victory for us.
Hamza, you deserve a pat on your back to maintain our interest in the league and posting the matches at regular intervals without any hiccups.
Well done team!
