ucant hit a four along the ground it is virtually impossible. U have to charge and hit over the top with L1 to hit sixes and fours. It is possible to pull for four with or without L1 and to cover drive, cut, and late cut for four but most people deal in sixes!

Try timing it, you may have a batsmen with weak power you may have a slow outfield. So many different variations of possibilities.

Im closing in on my first half century in my first full match, Ian Sutcliff is on 42 and Mark Chilton is on 47. Also, wait for an outswinger thats wide of off stump and go at it with the four button, if theres a gap in the field it should pierce it and run away for four.

It is very possible to hit 4's without power. I did so in my first game back to EA cricket after smashing 2004 into the ground. It is very much just timing. Which I enjoy very much, so much more than 2004.

However the power button is a big issue.
