Hi all,
To be perfectly honest, I dont watch or play or really have that much of an interest in Cricket, but I recently purchased International Cricket Captain 3 for my stepdad and as I enjoy management style games I thought I would give this game a go, you never know may even get me interested in watching cricket!
Im kind of getting to grasps with the game but am having a few difficulties with some of the abbreviations in the game, I have pretty much managed to figure everything else out with the exception of the abbreviations in a players profile. LHB/RHB are pretty obviously Left/Right handed batsmen, there is then another abbreviation (assumably bowling type?) OS/LS/RFM/RM/RMF/LF/LFM/LMF/SLA (those are the ones I can currently see in my team, although there are probably more.) Could someone assist me in determining what the abbreviations mean please?
Also when it comes to fielding. What differences will over/offside. full/normal/short pitchlengths and the stump aims affect? For example if someone prefers slight back foot deliveries then which would be the total opposite of this? Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for continuing to read and trying to help out a total cricketing novice!
