He has a FC batting average of 34 including 9 centuries, I don't know why cricinfo still has him as a bowler.

I think he said it was based on ODI and List A averages.

Cameron White - ODI average of 32.78 in 47 matches, OD average of 33.61 in 151 matches. ODI bowling average of 28.75 (only taken 12 wickets though) and has an economy of over 6 an over. OD bowling average of 35.60 (92 wickets).

Test bowling average of 68.40 and FC bowling average of 39.84 if you want to know how ████ a FC bowler he is.

I always check the economy and that influences the average I give a player.

How about the Brisbane Braves? We are looking very strong already this season.

Mitchell Johnson, James Hopes, Callum Ferguson.. a very evenly based team. I wanted depth with bowling and batting, and seeing as we are forced to have 6 bowlers I think Hopes is a superb choice, as he has been a strong performer in APL - not to mention Mitch Johnson, who took about 35 odd wickets at 21 last season.

Yeah, Johnson stormed home last season, and Hopes carried the Magic's bowling attack.
