Team has done some intense training and every player in fit and are having peak form. Moreover Mr.Imran Khan,coach of Auckland lions has said,there team has excellent blend of national and international players and they have ability and courage to beat every team.
Auckland Lions are expecting to play their first match against Northern Knights at Seddon Park.
Imran khan also said that their may be one or two changes int the playing XI after looking at the pitch as we have no Idea about the stadium.

Papps, McGlashan and Thompson who are all among our leading domestic player's.

Some of my Internationals are Flintoff and Kallis.

Even with those two stupid trades, his squad is still a lot stronger than most of the Aussie ones, and a few of the NZ ones.

Like look at the Central, Gold Coast, Geelong, Sydney (not including Dhoni), Adelaide, Hobart and Perth, they all have only 2 - 3 domestic players who have played international cricket, while I only have one or two who haven't, and bcvs has about four who haven't.

I reckon the Gold Coast are the dark horse for this season. We've got one of the stronger First XI, and some pretty good youth depth. If not this season, our youth should hold us in pretty good stead for the future.....
