Trans Tasman Premier League

Agreed, I hate it when people do that as well...

Not all, only some people.....
Sendtoyaari did it as he might thought that everyone goes mad if he posts a long time after match, so he might have did it.
But I pity Dhoni..!!

yup that was the reason for my quoting, otherwise I too know its really annoying.

Alright, I've decided that I'll start my Weekly Wrap right now, so I'll do one once the KO Cup round one finishes.

The Brisbane Braves kick off their season with a strong victory! We were only playing one of the weaker teams led by a fairly average manager, but a win is a win. Cremer was dreadful with the ball which proves my experiment wrong, he will be lucky to play again in the team. Chris Simpson was superb though, as was Zaheer Khan and Mitchell Johnson. Bcvs' team got off to a good start but we did well to restrict them with some late economical bowling and some steady wickets.

180 is never an easy chase on a poor pitch, but the South African pair were brilliant, Smith adding 41 and Boucher hitting an excellent half-century to ensure the victory. Jewell batted solidly opening and Klinger was great, I'm glad I bought him as I noticed he is a very handy batsman and has some good statistics in previous APLs.

The Christchurch Croc kick off their season with an epic defeat! We were only playing one of the weaker teams led by a fairly average manager, and we still lost. Everyone was dreadful with the bat which proves my team sucks, we'll be lucky to get a single win. James Franklin was the only one to actually do something. The bowlers bowled pretty well and we restricted them to a pretty low score, and we still loss, showing the crapness of the batsmen.

202 should've been very easy to chase but our batsman really let us down, batting was too slow and low scoring. The CCs are very disappointed but we'll try harder next time.

Wtf... Only one NZ team won.
And that was b/c they were versing another NZ team.

It doesn't really look good for us NZ teams... :noway

CG123 added 1 Minutes and 37 Seconds later...

Also I agree with MaD, the only NZ team that won was defiantly the weakest NZ team, and probably one of the weakest teams overall.

weakest by what?
A team with one of the best bowling attack is weakest?

You have three batsmen that have hardly played any FC cricket.
You only have two world class INT player, being Muralitharan and Bond.
You only have one NZ INT player, being Bond.
Styris isn't in our first choice OD team, he is only really a back up for Elliot.

In my whole squad, only one player has never played INT cricket, and he has pretty much the best domestic averages out of all NZ players.

I have nothing against you, I am am just saying my opinion on your squad.
For all I know, you might have a good squad as I have no idea what each player is rated...

Wha bout my squad

You got heaps of class INT player's. Shiv, Morkel, Vaas etc...
Elliot and McCullum are NZ regulars.
Fulton, Patel and Franklin are all fringe NZ players.
Wagner and Anderson are probably both going to be Blackcaps one day.
As far as I know Stewart, Ingram and Yovich all have solid domestic records, but to date have never got a chance at INT level.

So overall I would say you have a reasonable squad, but it is not me rating the players so I wouldn't know. :)
