Actually its better without stars. You will be more happy to see new talent coming up and its actually they who play in actual domestic T20 tournaments with stars playing for international teams.

Who on earth has coverage of this? I just checked NZ and Australia and I can't see it in their schedule.

Yea I checked last night to see if NZ are getting coverage it doesn't appear so.

It's shown on One in Australia - Ten's second channel. Hopefully they'll be replaying the games during the day because I'm not fancying all nighters...

Why has this got its own sub forum? I understand for the international events but this is taking it a bit too far. There are too many subforum's in the Cricket discussion for my liking anyway.

AWTA. It's a domestic competition. I don't think the IPL should get a sub-forum either. The County Championship doesn't get one, nor does the Sheffield Shield, so I don't believe the IPL or this Champions League should have a sub-forum.

Is it true that the non IPL teams are fielding less than 4 overseas players just because they can't afford it?

I would have thought they have less than 4 because they are only allowed one overseas player (thats for the English sides anyway).

NSW and Bushrangers really don't need any overseas players, specially Bushrangers. They are too strong.

the thing I really hate about the international players thing is there is a handful of players that have 3 chances of being at this tournament.

2 is pushing it but understandable because the IPL is out with domestic cricket in india.

but dimi could have been there with rajasthan, hampshire or otago. McCullum presumably could have gone with new south wales if otago weren't there, as well as kolkata.

it's slightly ridiculous, certain players will be fixtures in the champions league every year, just for different teams.

Can't agree with you more.Australian domestic structure (or breeding ground of champions if you like :D) is still the strongest in the world.

What's wrong with that?
What i hate is this issue regarding the overseas players

I just bought tickets for matches between Otago Volts and Cape Cobras along with Decccan Chargers and Somerset Sabers (10th of this month, Double header..)
I tried to get tickets of 750 INR but 250 INR were empty.. so just bought the tickets which cost me 250 INR per ticket...
So, just watch for me..:D:D
After sometime, I'll get you the previews of the ticket.
