I too noticed but was very upset so didn't post it.
Keen eyes but you'll have to remember that in the Kookaburra Classic, you only earn vC in the first two games you play but you'll earn vC from every game in the Gray-Nicolls Championship. This keeps things even so everyone has the same amount of games from which to earn vC.
