After the recent shakeup in the ICC, Afghanistan, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, United States, Canada, Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Namibia, Nepal all have been given test status as well. Each team has to play a minimum of 3 test per year to maintain the status. In addition to playing 3 test, one of the test has to be against a full member top 8 team.
United States have been a market that has not been captured yet but with these new sanctions everyone is hoping that world cricket has another top team.
