Unlocking games in WIN98 - it seems not to work

Has anyone of you tried out the patch, which unlocks games and teams in Cricket 2002 with WIN98?

My friend has XP and it works great, but I'am still using WIN98 and I am not able to find that file called "user" mentioned in the readme.file of the patch. There is only one file called user, but it is a text editor file.

If someone of you has got it to work with WIN98, I would be very pleased for any help on that

Many thanks for your reply. I have found a file called "user", but this is just a file and not a folder. I can only open the file by using a "text editor" - so I won't be able to put those "unlock-files" into it, even by using that editor.

I think I have to search for a folder, but there is no such folder. So I created one now, but it still does not work.

But it doesn't matter, I will unlock it by playing all the needed games - it is much more fun. Yesterday I won the World Cup, so inbetween I am able to play the Sharjah Cup
