Why is the lighting always dark in your pictures?

Why is the lighting always dark in your pictures?

Because I have a crap light and it's nearly always night when I do take any pictures, it takes me most of the day to wake up.

Needs to be kept under control somehow and I refuse to use hair bands.

Haha. lol. no. The camera was on flash, and i just finished drinking a glass of water when the picture was taken. Forgot to wipe my mouth.
