@ covvy: I'm forced to do. Else, I'll be freezed. I'm currently at 15 degrees. And current Time is 12 noon. I guess you'll get the situation in which I am.

Are you kidding me? Your a girl, it's currently 6 degrees at 20 to 6 in the evening and I walk to school in jeans an a t-shirt. So it has to be close to 6 degrees then as well! You should
man up.

Its been -7 up here a week ago, and I went out in my normal hoody/jean arrangement. Agreed, i was a little cold, but I manned the fearsome tweak up!

This talk of manning up is just silly. When you guys can bear a 50+ degrees Delhi summer with 100% humidity day in day out for 3 months then you might be in a position to tell someone to man up. No wind, no rain, no shade.

What about under a roof.

No problem my friend. I'll just carry around a pool with me, and possibly some medics, a few gallons of water, and a butt-load of sun-cream.

If you're saying it's unmanly to wear anything more than a simple hoody and jeans at -7 then you can't be having all that at +50 either.

;)

Livin in the desert I know all about heat. 25 C is Legend! :D
In summers it breaks the 50 barrier with relative ease. Imagine playing in the sun during that time!

15 degrees is warm here

Jeez, that makes me shiver!

I remember watching England Vs Paraguay in the 2006 World Cup and it was about 30 degrees, and the commentators were saying it was so hot. We have played in hotter conditions but it does take a toll on you

I'd wear some shorts, I'd be fine.

Same. It is actually really warm here for this time of year. Its 27F, ~-3C and I wore me regular jeans-tshirt-hoodie outfit. I was tempted to bust out the shorts but I thought I might look like a wierdo :p

The mornings suck though. At around 7:30 AM when I'm usually out the door it's usually in the teens or single digits (Fahrenheit). The walk from the car to the school door is brutal: icy sidewalks make for very slow walking unless you want to break something slipping, and it's very cold. If left uncovered, my fingers feel like they are about to fall off in just the 2 minute walk!

Totally bearable though...

Cricketman added 2 Minutes and 22 Seconds later...

Aye, I was born in Chennai and head back every summer. The hottest city in India and I absolutely love the weather in the summertime!

Admittedly summers here get pretty damn hot too, around 90-100F in July. (32-38C)

No, it's not.

As we're on a weather thing, I live in one of the warmest parts of the UK (outside of the south-west, but then they are inbred so no biggie ;)). It'll reach mid 20s in a normal summer, back in 2006 (I think) it was mid 30s.

Thing is we can't compare how comfortable we are in different places really. Us "whities" (and yes, as a GM I can use that term ;)) can't cope with those temperatures, as shown by the high rates of skin cancer in Australia, though they have some clever methods of fighting it. Iirc, suncream has to be put in all make-up, etc, for protection. I'll try to not go in to a wonders of evolution rant ;)

Black people can still get sunburnt.
