This year we have 4 teams taking part.
The local Australians led by Ricky Ponting
The English captained by Michael Vaughan

There will be 12 matches in the round robin stage, each side playing 6 matches, these matches will be played all across the country.
There will then be a 3 match finals series.

Any questions for the orginisers or any of the captains?
John Kingley Melbourne Times What inspired you to make the move to 4 teams?
Good question, we felt that having 3 touring squads gave more for the locals to get excited about. and lots of different opposition.
Simon Dorsalawenski Cricinfo England Michael, what is your aim for England in this tournament?
MV: Hi Simon, well realisticly it would be a sucess to make the finals, winning the tournament would be a very nice bonus.
Nicola Speller World Cricket What are your hopes for the series?
High standard cricket and the best team to win.
That's all we have time for today.
