Video Game Mafia - Game Over: Maney and Spoobir Victorious

I will be waiting for the day when Bevab and Zohaib are playing and they don't attract attention towards themselves irrespective of their alignments/roles. :facepalm

Bevab, Day 1 lynches have a big difference from Day 2 or further days' lynches. I don't want to start a debate here again on the ethics of play, which often occurs on Day 1s, so I hope you understand it.

So, what do we do now?

I am going to lynch Zohaib cos he annoys me.

Lynch: Zohaib

Lol, Since you are going after me again like the last few mafia games then you have to be mafia hence you were mafia in those games

Could be you're using the same strategy

Lynch : Chewie
I don't really like the idea of lynching someone based on previous games. Bit harsh on Zohaib. The guy should at least be given a chance.
@Spoobir, Out of all people why me, why not a guy that hasnt posted yet?
Because people who don't post won't give a defence and therefore won't possibly slip up on something to reveal that they're mafia.
I hate that tactic to be honest. How do you know that we will lynch a townie only? There is also the possibility of us lynching a mafia. Wasting a day is never a good strategy. Are you trying to protect your fellow mafia members from getting lynched because that's what I gather from your post. A early pressure lynch :

Lynch : Bevab

That night write up is confusing but I think we have already cracked it. :p
I found this lynch overly-aggressive. Bevab said he'd prefer a no lynch but wasn't going to do that yet because there was discussion going. Seems a bit like pouncing on an opportunity.
@Bevab - Cracking the write up doesn't confirm anyone as townie. Not only townies but mafia's too crack the write up. Cracking the write up has to do nothing with a player being a townie or a mafia.
It doesn't but everyone needs to give their opinions.

But there is only so many ways it can be interpreted, so not everyone would need to go and analyse it.

Maybe but I don't like the idea of people not bothering and sitting back because someone else already did the work. Even if it would be regurgitating the same thing, at least try and give some input into it.

I say that if one has any interpretations different than those of others, or something to add, one should post them. Not bothering to try and analyze the writeup is, in my opinion, not helpful at all.

You've almost contradicted yourself there though because on the one hand you think people should post only if they have any other interpretation or something to add but on the other hand if someone doesn't post something then they aren't helpful at all.

I am here. This is how I analyze the write-up.

Bloody hell. Who the hell came up with this idea? Infinityward? I don't need this. YOU NEED THIS! No! No I don't! YOU AND ME. WE ARE TOGETHER! NO! No we're not god dammit! PRESS THE BUTTON! No! No! Noooooo!

Entering past time - Mission 0 - Hidey hole

I will be god. And you cannot stop me!

Come. Join the dark side.

I am on the dark side!

It is your destiny.
Probably the cult tried to recruit the mafia godfather. That 'god' could also be based on the character rather than the role imo, but it certainly seems to be more of a godfather tbh.

Tonight you die. With the power of my blade, you have no chance. Whwere are you? Show yourself! Unleash the force.
What is this place. Nobody's dead yet! Where's my power! There! No! Almost...

(Looks up)

Huh?
Probably a doc save! Or maybe the godfather was roleblocked.

What was that? Better get back to work. Hey! come back! Found you!

~

Mhahahhahhahmmmhaaahahaha
No idea about this part of the write-up.

At the moment I won't lynch anyone, simply because the entire focus is on Zohaib and Bevab and I don't find them much scummy.

If someone doesn't bother analyzing anything, like Zohaib, who says, "well, the writeup has been analyzed by an experienced member, so I should just sit back; I don't need to analyze it", then he isn't being helpful at all. If someone at least tries, and then he finds some other interpretation, then he should post it. If you don't have any interpretations, at least you'll say I agree with *Enter name here*'s interpretation. That is to say, if 'experienced members' have already posted their interpretations, which themselves differ from each other, and if one thinks, "They've done it. I won't bother", rather than, "There are two different opinions. One about the doc or role blocker and other about a commuter, which one do I agree with", (this is just an example) that'd be better.

The above paragraph is just the same thing round and round. :p

I found this lynch overly-aggressive. Bevab said he'd prefer a no lynch but wasn't going to do that yet because there was discussion going. Seems a bit like pouncing on an opportunity.

My lynch on Bevab was basically a pressure lynch because I really hate the logic of a no lynch on day 1 but now I feel that the way he is playing, he might indeed be mafia. I mean, what kind of logic is this - I'd like a no lynch but I'd not no lynch just yet because some discussion is taking place. Firstly he is saying that I'd go for a no lynch because it's better to lose one townie in the night phase than two and then he says that I'd not go for a no lynch just yet because some discussion is taking place.

The thing that I don't understand is, when he is not in favor of day 1 lynch then why is he even relying on any discussion? What is the certainty of a mafia getting lynched after some discussion has taken place and a majority is reached on a lynch. Why doesn't he make up his mind on one thing, either go for a no lynch or have some discussion started.

It doesn't but everyone needs to give their opinions.

Yeah obviously why not? I'm not saying that members don't need to give their opinions on the night write up. My reply was to Bevab, on the topic that cracking the write up doesn't clear anyone as townie or mafia. It has to do nothing with a player's role.

This is interesting. Perhaps he's waiting for some bandwagon to form on a townie then he'll "reluctantly" join it?

According to me, he is and that's why I have lynched him because I really fail to understand his logic otherwise.

Although you can never tell it with Bevab, I agree with Aditya here. What Bevab has written is self-contradictory, and it appears to me that he's making statements just to clear himself up.

FOS: Bevab.

And Unlynch: Yudi for now as well. As he has posted.
