Way to bowl with fast bowlers

Im playing the ashes, 3rd test Australia 2nd innings. I need to bowl them out for under 246. Im using Flintoff, harmison, Anderson, Giles, and I have Kirtley. Whats the best way to bowl with a fast, medium/fast? In the 1st innings I was only really able to get wickets wiith giles, and it was tough to break down the top order, with a couple of run outs cropping up.

I cant seem to get edges and Im mixing up the bowling. I have actually just bowled Hayden with Flintoff 23-1 now

Any advice?

What pitch type is it?

If its dusty,use spinners.

If its Overcast and cloudy,use Swing Bowlers.

If its Green,use pace bowlers.

It really comes down to the pitch type.Use it to your advantage.

Usually,I bowl a good length delivery just outside the off stump when I'm using pace bowlers.Of course,mix it up with some yorkers and bouncers and slow balls

By the way u didnt tell the patch u r using the exe u r using and whether r u using hard mode of play, anyway u have to bowl with variable pace, line, length and of course use different field settings, using original AI u can easiily defend totals, try diferent AI by our members like Tutsi, Boss , Ravi, Faraz, gold639 etc these can be very nuch interesting,

if it is default, just cover up the off-side. I'm sure may people here agree to that. Have couple of slips, a gully and 3-4 in the off side (covers, etc.). With medium fast, bowl about the middle stump or just outside off and have patience! In case that does not work, try a spinner (giles may be) with a slip(if you want to), silly point and forward short leg.

he also said he bowled hayden. in default patch its very hard to bowl people and sometimes impossible

so he could be using an ai patch or i could be wrong

Thanks for the replies. I haven't got an ai patch installed so I will look into that one and try some things suggested. I bowled Hayden just as I decided to post this thread, I bowled a few bouncers, a few off cutters then just threw in a slow ball at his feet and he mis judged it, bit tricky to do again though.
