What song was #1 on the day you were born.

I'll Make Love To You - Boyz II Men - US
Saturday Night - Whigfield - UK
Confide In Me - Kylie Minogue - Australia

Never heard any of 'em, and I don't expect them to be very good.

Hated 'Saturday Night' and can't remember what the other two sound like. However, since you don't know anything about them, why do you predict that they won't be any good? Because they don't sound like a malfunctioning printer like some of today's crap?

No, because they exactly sound like today's crap. Perhaps a bit short-sighted of me, but I've heard a bit of Kylie Minogue and she doesn't seem any different from most of the female singers you hear nowadays. Saturday Night seems like the Backstreet Boys kind. And certainly not hearing the first one. I'm tired of generic love songs, especially those mindlessly alluding to sex.

Yeah, but then I may be completely wrong.

AUS - Black Or White - Michael Jackson
US - Black Or White - Michael Jackson
UK - Bohemian Rhapsody /These Are The Days Of Our Lives - Queen

Must be nearly the same age as Trev, Stay by Shakespeare Sisters which was the number one before Deeply Dippy.

Fantasy - Mariah Carey (US)
Fairground - Simply Red (UK)
Stayin' Alive - N-Trance (AUS)

Kylie must be doing something right - she's lasted an awfully long time; there are very few female (or male) singers around nowadays that I can see lasting as long.

This Is How We Do It - Montell Jordan (US)
Some Might Say - Oasis (UK)
Here's Johnny - Hocus Pocus (AUS)
Believe - Elton John (CAN)
Back for Good - Take That (GER)

UK: Sleeping Satellite - Tasmin Archer
US: End Of The Road - Boyz II Men
AUS: Achy Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus
CA: Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough - Patty Smyth & Don Henley
GER: Sweat (A La La La La Long) - Inner Circle

I can totally see Australians getting down to Achy Breaky Heart.

The theme to the 2012 olympic opening ceremony....darn, shat my nappy again!
