Haha, I'm not expecting it to be a good'un though, although it sounded alright on the previews. At least it's not an Argos special though . Only ?85 with postage, and it comes with the amp and everything. Will just update when if I enjoy it and get decent enough =D

Because I did a little bit of research before I bothered to buy one, and I know that paying ?85 for a guitar is not going to be me a fantastic one. Just a decent enough one to learn on!

The Amp looks a bit puny, but it should do for a begginner .

Last thing I bought was some Lucozade Glucose tablets.

What is that guitar? Its not exactly clear what the make is?

I like the look of it.

Magz, no need for anything bigger at this stage I used a crappy 10w amp in the house which is my first amp, and its perfect, just not much change on it. I can turn it up or down and do a bit with the distortian, otherwise its just an amp.

Its when you get on stage that bigger amps make sense, and the flashier the better obviously.

Anyways, Dan, piece of advice,

Get a teacher, you'll learn so slow, or not at all on your own. Really trust me with this. Whilst you're alone, learn Twinkle Twinkle or Ba Baa Blacksheep. Both are real easy, and both can be learnt in 1hr tops

A little more advice, learn how to play the Chromatic scale, its excellent to warm up. Basically its the first four frets, play each fret with a different finger on the bass string, then move down one, and so on, the quicker you can do it the better

Also, learn tabs! I cannot give you any more advice than this! LEARN TABS! Or atleast learn how to read them well,this way you can play bits of songs

Its a pain in the ass reading tabs as a lefthander.

Tabs piss me off, I've always had trouble getting the Rhythm perfect. That's why I prefer reading sheet music.


And try not to go too hard, let your hands get used to the strings first.

All the gear but no idea.

I hate playing music. Just completely crap at it. School tried really hard to get me to do it, come on Joe, you're a gifted student, try some extra stuff.

Anyway I bought a KFC and it was absolutely horrible. Seriously not good, gave the chips to a mate because I don't like theirs anyway and just had the chicken which was rank.

Going out to buy a suit tomorrow. Dads paying, told him I want to merchandise.

That's bloody cheap then. Over here your looking at least ?130. I've no idea exact price as I've never had one.
