When will be up on steam for Pre Order

Will the pc version have a physical copy or only digital copy. I pre-ordered pc version(from BT games South Africa) so hopefully there will be physical disk. I won't be able to download digital copy because I don't have a fixed internet line only 3G.

Yeh, that was brought up about a month ago by gkrama I think.

Really wish I dont have to wait another whole two months looking at people around here(being jealous) playing DBC14. I want to buy PS3 but as a student and now on job, I keep moving and its not easy.

Dont be jelly. Buy a PS3.

I had the same problem as you. I have been moving around a lot (studies and jobs) and was very reluctant to buy a PS3 because it is not exactly portable. But then one night I just decided to go with my gut. Bought it. Now one of my suitcases has half its space reserved for my PS3. I would say its been totally worth it :D

And 23 hours ago there was a change in the change number :p. For PC users this should be exciting :p :lol as this is just what we have right now :facepalm

An advanced warning: many "retail" disks also require Steam. Football Manager is like that: I bought FM12 in a shop and it had a DVD in it: but it had to connect to Steam to install the game; and I know that FM14 was also like that. I like Steam, so this is probably a good thing but for some perhaps doing it another way might be good. The TES Anthology for PC let you install all of the games bar Skyrim outwith Steam, but you had Steam codes for morrowind and oblivion so you could get Steam versions of them if you chose with all of the advantages and problems that presents. That's probably the best way to get the best of both worlds.

I have seen no one be "a asshole" towards new members; merely welcoming them in a way that is fitting to these forums.

Any idea what does changenumber mean? Something like a version?

Any idea what does changenumber mean? Something like a version?

When an application or package changes, Steam sends out a "changelist" to notify all Steam clients that something changed. This changelist has a number, referred to as "changenumber". This changenumber increments globally and is not a per-app thing.
App and package updates do not even have to be related to the app/package itself as Valve does periodical changes to a batch of apps/packages. For a changenumber to change on an app that hasn't been active in months, it's more likely a useless change rather than a sign of life.

:facepalm

I'm mean to new members, but only because that's the initiation I got. :mad
