I got promoted Recently and I knew it wasn't going to be easy. And it hasn't but, I shall be leaving soon If I can find a new job

Your girlfriend will understand that you have no choice but to go to work, and arrange to have dinner another day, I am sure. Will this strain your relationship with her? Will this improve your stance at work? As the other thread suggests, maybe this is fate!AHHHHHH!!!! Not happy. I've got to go to work at 6:30 this evening because we have a late delivery coming in and I actually have not the slightest idea when it will finish. I was going out tonight for dinner with my gf. I am going to get such an earful now![]()

"Who said promotion made life easier?"
I don't know, but Derby can put a pretty strong argument against it.
Either that, or she's planning something. If you notice knives, rope and things of those kind, just keep your eyes peeled behind you![]()
Anyone ever been faced with the following situation? What option did/would you take?
1) You are in a job. Pay isn't the best in the world, but each new day brings a fresh challenge and you love every minute of it.
2) A job comes up, a more senior role, and with it more pay. However, you don't do that job anymore and have a supervisual (is that the right word?) role and it is boring as sin.
Supervsing. Honestly, kids today. I'd also choose option 1
