Even though Gambhir is an Opening Batsman and is already in the side, I believe that he will be Dravid-esque over the course of his career. He'll probably be a tad more aggressive then Dravid though.
India would be better off opting for a moderate middle-order batsman rather then a defensive one like Dravid, because Gambhir seems capable of playing in the same vain as what Dravid has over his career. By the time that Dravid retires, Gambhir will have a fair deal of International experience under his belt aswell.
Gambhir's better then Sehwag, IMO.
