Irrespective whether you dislike, or even occasionally admire England's cricket team, why do you enjoy seeing them get beaten in cricket tests (whether they're Ashes related or not) ?

I like seeing anyone get beated by us. Otherwise I don't really care if they win or lose.

I don't. Although I do giggle a bit when they fail yet again in a One Day International.

I enjoy seeing England's cricket team get beaten because it is my country playing cricket. I am passionate about my country and I am a cricket addict. Add to that, England win more test matches than they lose.

So you enjoy seeing your cricket team get beaten because it is your country?.....? :help

I enjoy seeing England lose because whenever they win they think they need the biggest celebration of ther lives. 2005 Ashes Series they got that bus and thought they were all so good and they had to be knighted by the queen or something like that. I am Aussie and thats why i enjoy seeing England lose.

No member of the England team were knighted as far as I remember...

No but they had that ceremony with the queen.

It's not the England cricket team's fault that they were all given MBE's was it? It was yet another case of the English media completley over exaggerating everything. There's no denying that winning the Ashes in 2005 was a massive achievement for us, but giving Paul Collingwood an MBE for 17 runs and a catch is ridiculous.

Yes it is more an act od the English media not the English cricket team.

Don't forget the Government who were mostly to blame. They saw an ideal opportunity to latch onto a sporting success and try somehow to leech some of the public joy and opinion towards them.
