I've basically suggested twitter because everyone can access it from any device and it's more fit for the job than a forum thread.

Or a post by auctioneer and we use comments as bids

I've suggested teams have accounts (or known personal accounts) and 1 bid per tweet with a pcpl hashtag. No bid for a set time for a player is the hammer.

But exact mechanics to be decided by powers that be...
