Well I was afraid to jinx them because I was going to say that last year they scored 324 and lost against India...luckily not at home.

Bad loss by the windies. But Lara played brill! I hpe Windies can win last ODI and the two tests.

You guys are talking about a bad performance by the Windies wasn't it great performance by Sri Lankas batsman in particular Upul Chandana. Admittedly Sri Lankas bowling was ragged but it was completely taken apart by a great innings from the master Brian Lara. The Windies batting was unbelievable in the last 11 overs where we conceded 136 runs. However they were undone by a more consistent, well paced batting performance by the Sri Lankans. Most of my credit goes to Upul who is da man. He started off taking the sensible singles then he hit some great shots including my favourite the massive pulled six of Vasbert Drakes. He deserved a century but was outdone by some persistent bowling from Corey Collymore. West Indies bowling wasnt great and it was about as good as Sri Lankas bowling but that shouldnt take credit away from the superior Sri Lankan batting. Good luck for Sri Lanka in the remaining matches against Windies.
