What are the audio formats that you are using for music? Because in the past i've got that problem when using MPEGs. Convert your MPEGs to AVIs instead.

Go on google and type in 'Total Video Converter' and download the trial. It converts any format.

The audio is in mp3 format...Anywayz...I will try converting the videos to avi! Isnt there anyway to convert the files to avi in the maker?

I wouldn't say the problem is with codecs, at least have a quick look that you have enough space on your C: drive as that's where it will store temp files for editing etc.
And why do you want to convert mpg to avi. Avi is a container format, not a video format in itself. So Mpgs should work fine, try Windows Movie maker version 2 if the problem persists.

Keeping on this topic, I have a little Clip but its in .avi, do you know how I can turn it to .wmp?
Windows movie maker will do that for you easily.

Which AVI am I supposed to convert the videos to??
AVI is generic, it can contain any codec, well not any but quite a lot.

Thing is that Windows movie maker is crap. It requently crashes on me and I have to save every 30 seconds. There must be a better one thats free. Have a look on www.download.com

I have been looking for a good movie editor. Luckily for me my TV tuner came with a decent one so now I can cut out the ads of a TV show and then save it.
It's called Mpeg editor 5.0

You have provide a bit more info. Did you record it from TV or is it simply a mpeg file and whats the size of it. Straight answer is you can select Lossless AVI if you plan to burn it to DVD, otherwise any other format is fine. And if its just an mpeg file, say downloaded from the net than just leave it to that, why change?

That error relates to not having enough space on C: drive.
