Bangalore has one of the most passionate sports fanbases in the country for a reason. A lot of the newer Indian football clubs struggle with fan following and attendances but Bengaluru FC had both despite not being in the ISL to start with. The likes of Perry and Mandhana will forever be remembered and revered by these fans even if they never win another title again.

It’s why I get extremely frustrated with how the men’s team squandered opportunity year after year due to them preferring to be a marketing billboard and well known brand first over being a successful side. These people who have been fans for years deserve way better than that.
