UPDATE
21 August, 2023

Squads

You may now select different squads for each format in a multi-format tour. Upgrades can not be spent mid-series but can be spent mid-tour. It only makes sense.
FTP Calendar: Slots Reduction

Unfortunately, the number of slots allowed per team will be shortened to two less than before. Which means, teams with a WCC-managed conference can play up to 6 games, and teams part of a user-managed confederation can play up to 10 games per FTP season. The slots cordoned off for WCC events will be freed up and made available to teams not taking part in them.
2003 WCC Cricket World Cup

The season finale; the Cricket World Cup will quietly expand to 20 teams without any news/storyline reason, almost making it seem as if it was the plan from the very beginning. The reason for that has more to do with IRL stuff than storyline stuff. So many members have contributed to this league with their heart and genuine enthusiasm, and I think it would be an immense shame if some of them had to miss out because of a needless restriction. The format of the tournament will remain the same, the groups will just go from consisting of four teams to five teams. With two months cordoned off from the calendar, accommodating extra games should be a non-issue.
WCC Americas

With the arrival of Bermuda, a WCC Americas confederation has been formed. Much like every other confederation, it will be run by me at first until someone willingly takes the responsibility to manage it themselves, giving teams from their confederation extra games in the FTP calendar. Should we reach a point where the league has four teams or more from each of the two Americas, the confederation will be split into North and South.
Domestic: Upgrades

Upgrades from domestic tournaments will only be given out when the tournament ends in the calendar, not IRL. You could still dump all of your domestic games in one evening, but you'll have to wait until the date of the final approaches in the FTP calendar to avail the upgrades. It won't be an issue if you're posting your games at once and the tournament is supposed to take place at a date/window that has gone by; you will instantly get your upgrades. The minimum number of matches required to sim has also been changed to 1 match (previously; it was 3 matches).
Domestic: Windows

All domestic tournaments are locked-in to their current windows and may not be moved. If you wish to move them, it's my discretion whether they'll be allowed to move.
Part-Time Bowlers

You may edit your batters to make them part-time bowlers. Previously, players who had attribute points spent in a single skill (batting) could not be updated to include a part-time bowling option. I have come to realize that it is a needless restriction; in real life, a batter will roll their arm over whenever needed. So players like Talha Hayat can have a part-time bowling option added to them, given the rest of that player's build still complies with the Player Creation rules. All changes must be made at the start of the season; not after.
Clean Slate

You may quit your current team and pick a new nation. The team you choose to quit will be retired until the end of the FTP season, and all progress will be lost. You will start over with your brand new team with a clean slate.
Rankings

All rankings have been updated. Retired teams are currently unranked.
Retired Teams

Retired teams will be made available to new managers at the end of the 1999-2003 FTP cycle. After that; all retired teams will be made available after 2 FTP seasons of inactivity.

After 2003 it's all over and we have to restart? Or for 2004-07 we can continue with our current team and with all the upgrades and everything

There's no restart/reboot; we can, and probably will continue, with a much more abridged league with a two-season (2003–05) cycle, or it's all ov...
