Seeing how far the T20 cricket has come in such a short span, ICC has decided to make the most exciting format of cricket grow a bit more by introducing the 'World T20 Challenge.'

The brain behind this concept is said to be of a PlanetCricket forum member User2010 who said, "This should not be mistaken as the ICC World T20. There is a lot of difference in the two and the main being only top 8 nations will be participating in this challenge. This is not just one tournament but, a collection of various T20 tournaments."

He confirmed the chief selectors of the top 8 nations as he stated, 'They will surely be PlanetCricket forum members. All have a pretty clear perspective of the game and can give any other senior selector a run for their money. Here are the selectors of top 8 nations in alphabetical order -
