International Tours of Zimbabwe Premier League kicked start with Mountaineers taking off Australia on their precious ground - W.A.C.A in Perth.
Cameron White, the Australian captain of the tour was put to bat first by Stuart Carlisle, the Mountaineers captain who won the toss and decided to bowl.
Khawaja and Haddin started off firmly but Cremer made Khawaja miss a wonderful 50. Then after the quick wicket of Ferguson, White North and Steven Smith steadily guided Australia to a beautiful total of 302. Though tailenders failed to increase the total. Precious bowling by Masvaure and Cremer was the only thing to cheer for Mountaineers as Australians were mostly out of their control.
Clint McKay opened the bowling for Australia. An amazing yorker delivery dismissed Mountaineers captain Carlisle on a golden duck. Just as Wishart and Ervine were about to settle, Siddle and Smith ensured their unsuccessful performance. Regis Chakabva managed to put 47 on his name before being dismissed by Hopes. Wickets continued to tumble and at last it was all over. Australians won the game by 72 runs.
Man of the match award was rewarded to the promising youngster Steven Smith for his excellent all rounde performance.

First things first and thats the fact i din like the scorecard present rockbottom to the innings commentary

Regarding the match , a delightful performance despite the fact we lost by 50 odd runs. I was fielding only my second string side and played only 2 overseas who were actually the useless fellas in the lineup . The locals starting from wishart , chakabva to nicolson and Prince all did a fascinating job with bat and ball respectively . Noted down the team's weak points as well as the strong areas .
