I've picked an unusual team. And it's not one sided.

I have picked most players on face-value rather than form.

It's a bit strange though. Ireland is ranked higher in the ODI rankings then Zimbabwe, but Zimbabwe did beat India twice recently. Also they beat Sri Lanka I believe.

But Ireland really is currently the best team of the Associates. Looking forward to the contest. If they had included Bangladesh in a Tri Series it would be even more exciting.

I am still not sure whether I have made the right selection. I might change it after a few days.

I wish cricinfo made a preview of the 1st ODI. I am still not sure, whether my selected players, will play in the ODI series.

It seems I didn't include the deadline correctly. It was set 12 hours later. The deadline is set now at 07:40 GMT.

The teams have yet not announced, so I don't know what's happening in that match.

Match still hasn't started yet. Anyway, it seems that most of the people have Brendan Taylor as captain. Which means he really needs to fail, since I don't have him as captain.

My captain is Potterfield. Praying that at most 2 palyers are missing as in past my Bangladesh, Ireland or Zim players do not even play games.

I've got 3 non-playing players: Greg Lamb, Kevin O'Brien and Ray Price. And I don't have Rainsford who grabbed 2 wickets in 5 balls.

My only chance of doing well is if Stirling scores a century and takes some wickets.
