Asif arrested in Dubai

Its not only just become common knowledge that pakistan are a team full of cheating drug abusers has it? Has everyone else been in a cave for the last 10 years?

I think before everyone attempts to decide to

Asif was carrying "Shilajit" which is an ayurvedic medicine.

From Geo News: The Dubai Police have confirmed this (Shilajit), and Mohammad Asif is currently on his way to Pakistan.

Also, I would like to say this - UAE Authorities don't let anyone go, it is not like Pakistan or India, where with a couple of thousand dollars, you can go scot free and bribe people.

It is more or less like the USA and UK in that sense.

Mohammad Asif PASSED the drug test that was given to him in Dubai - his blood and urine was both tested, and both came out negative for drugs.

UAE Authorities are definitely not known for any leniency at all, ESPECIALLY toward Pakistanis and Indians. If the report that he has been released is true, you can be 200% sure that he has done nothing wrong (or is an extremely intelligent man)

Am going to have to say, this is the first time that I've heard that Mohammad Asif chucks.

Even after watching videos, on release of the delivery, Asif and McGrath have almost the same wrist positions...

Stupidity! As some one said here, he will say "I dont know how it came into my purse" blah blah blah...

He uses these sort of things to do well. Damn! Sick guy!

Excuse me, this is a grammar enforced zone. Just a warning, keep the grammar correct or i'll have to start deleting posts.

Yeah I was being a bell end and aiming to provoke the hilariously defensive responses seen above with an outlandish claim that has no truth whatsoever and rather than rising above my trollish ways you choose to engage in confrontation to protect your beloved drug addict fast bowler. Who may I say is one of the finest i've seen of this generation but has the misfortune of having a spineless cricket board running his country's team and had they banned him and punished him for his steroid abuse rather than letting him off the hook then he probably wouldn't be in this predicament now.

What kind of response did you expect? Since you yourself have admitted yourself as a "troll" , did you expect us to agree with your comments?

Warne took drugs, but is still a legend of the game.

Because 709 wickets speaks for itself so it's obvious to all he's a legend. I'm not gonna defend Warne's drug taking because he took drugs simple as. But what seperates him from Asif is that he served a ban and rightly so for breaking the doping rules. Asif didn't.
