Chennai to build world's largest stadium

Yeah and some football (american football) grounds here in the US have the retracting roof as well

OH man! that stuff is kool, real good.

Allianz Arena is the best and the sexyist though.

Retractable roof's aren't really anything new. Stadia like this

are much more impressive ;)

i've heard about this.

There was a similar shifting system in russia, which was possibly developed in 1996, can't remember, it was X-Games International events or something, Which could bring and change various tracks, of various sports onto the play, in minutes! it's long way back though! Can't remember it's name.. ! And also uses Artificial weather system (normal though) and uses a similar Procedure as the japan stadium.. Like hosting races which cover indoor and outdoor tracks in a single race.. Kinda monaco GP like thing if you don't get it:p..:)..

I live in the city and watch matches occassionally in the Chepauk Stadium and I have to tell that the thing that needs improvement is the seating facility(Trust me I have sat on concrete slabs which are the cheapest seats available which costs little money:().

Well, you get what you pay for...

Pakistan stadiums also have the concrete seats, but I'm not too sure about the prices in Indian stadiums, in Pakistan the seats on the concrete for a test match cost about zilch. I believe Rs. 75 which is now equivalent to $1 USD since the rupee rose.

and then the nice seats are about Rs. 400

Those prices are per day, I believe.

Its 250 for a ticket in the concrete seats in chennai. A lot of arses almost get burnt in the summer when the heat is 40 C. We stand on our feet most of the time in the afternoon. (Thats multi-tasking. We give every player a standing ovation that way:p.)

I wouldn't mind concrete seats in the UK, I might be able to justify the price of an admission ticket to an international match ;) (Somewhere around 6000 rupees currently)

Luckily England is a nation of inventors and using their wonderous knowledge we now have these things called cushions :D

You can afford a PC, you can afford a cushion :p

You can afford a PC, you can afford a cushion :p
You cannot take anything into grounds in India. Not even water. You have to buy water in these silly little pouches where you end up pouring most of the water down your shirt.

You men should be ashamed of yourselves if you wet your shirts without giving due consideration to the busty fairer sex.
