England In India - October 2011/12

Sri Lanka A have saved Taylor's season. Poor before that, a load of youngsters turn up that he takes for plenty and suddenly he's the second coming of Bradman again. :rolleyes

That's not in reply to the last post by the way.

Duncan Fletcher has had possibly the worst ever start to his coaching stint with India. A 1-0 scoreline against WI which should have been 3-0, and now this thrashing against England.

I feel this series thrashing should push Dhoni on his toes.

Exactly what Shravi said. Following on CI can make you do that as if I was watching on a TV, I'd atleast be enjoying the opposition batting.

Haha, I've seen every ball- cringing, crying and laughing (at how poor we are).

Well, averaging 60 in OD for Leics, but not much to write home about in FC. Meh, he's 21! :D

What a drubbing. Truly listless. What has become of Indian bowling without Zaheer? It should truly be agonizing to watch for Indian fans. You must have a good bowling attack to challenge England in England.

Just got home from work. Awesome, that is all.

Me too. In fact... Barmy.... Barmy.... Barrrrmmmmyyyy! Could you please come and burst this cloud I'm sat on. It's lovely and I like the number 9, only I'm worried the moment I'm least expecting it, it'll burst and pour with rain. Hopefully you'll get here first and provide me with a good hosing down, slap me back and forth with a fish and remind me that the next collapse and lifeless bowling performance is just around the corner haha :)

We are the England... Mighty mighty England... We are the Army... the Barmy Barmy Army.... Barmy Army, Barmy Army, Barmy Army!

Had more bite to it, bit more of a no ball problem though

Really? Have you seen Mishra haha If he's not the greatest spot fixer ever, then as a spinner myself, I can only shake my head and hope that he has something wrong with his eyes. Like depth perception or something.

Hope we declare when Cook gets to 300. I know it'd be nice for Cook to get past 333 but it is slightly boring at the moment.

Ah, more stupidity. Lights on, but let's go off anyway. What is the point of the lights if we're going to go off anyway.

This is beyond stupid, it's a farce. Another one of the reasons why Test cricket is going out of fashion.

- 'What's the point in having lights'?

- 'All we're doing with the lights is wasting electricity'.

So damn true! This rule badly needs looking at.

England deserve the no.1 ranking. Even if India beat them upside down from now. They're playing prime cricket. India are not.

700 up, still think we could do with that extra 300 just so we get past that mental barrier of 1000.
