No, he doesn't play T20Is for India. He played his only T20I against RSA in 2006.

You don't need batting till like #9 in this format, or any of the shorter formats for that matter and what exactly has he done to get this chance? Absolutely nothing, terrible IPL season, even worse FC season, but he somehow manages to make the national team.

And who are our 2 leg spinners? Piyush Chawla and... Manoj Tiwary, oh right.

Mandeep Singh might be a good IPL batsmen for Kings XI Punjab. But he doesn't deserve a place in India because there are many people way too better than him and also he is inexperienced.

He will take years to come into India, you see Manish Pandey isn't in picture so far, even after becoming the first Indian to score IPL ton.

I think Chawla is just there for good luck. I don't know why they did not include Sreesanth. When Chawla and Piyush is there with team, we always win the trophy.

I am pretty sure we will have the same team that played against NZ except Sehwag coming back at opening for Manoj/Rohit and probably Dinda in place of Balaji?

I still think 6 specialist batsmen is unnecessary in this format, the man coming in at #7 hardly gets a look in and when he does it's just to slog a couple out of the ground, Irfan Pathan can do that.

We basically have batting till #9 either way, but in this case our bowling is a lot stronger and we won't be forced to bowl with part-timers, which is just silly in a format that's slog heavy.
