You know I'm gonna have to ask you to choose only one of those teams, right :D
Please don't do that, please. I have great attachment with both the teams. I have been with Sydney since forever whereas Rajasthan is very close to me because of the turnaround we pulled off. I hope I can manage both along with the respective co owners please.

I will be starting PC Champions League X8 very soon. I just need to do some admin for the previous season and set up the current season.

Because there aren't as many List-A leagues at the moment as there once used to be, I've decided to include runners-up from a few leagues to makeup for the numbers. This will be the first season of the league to include runners-up since Season IV. With the current arrangement, there are eight teams that can potentially participate in the season. 2 from :pak: HCP, 2 from :aus: ELA, 2 from :ind: IODC, 1 from :zim: ZPL and 1 from :unf: PCWL.

I would've included more teams, probably from leagues like the Europa Cup, Afghan Premier League and Ford Trophy but they were all already partaking in the previous season which could not finish.

I'm tagging the managers of the participating teams to confirm if they are available. I will also be contacting them directly via PM once the league is all set to go, but if you guys see this post please let me know in advance if you're gonna be able to compete.

I should also point out that I've gone ahead and taken an executive decision by myself and given the hosting to :pak: Pakistan for this season. Pakistan, after all these years is hosting International cricket again IRL, so I thought why not give it to the country that hasn't hosted it before.

Please do point out if I've missed any leagues/teams that should be here but aren't.

It’s highly improbable, but if the IP50 finishes by tomorrow, you could take a team from that.

Guys, I understand where you're coming from but it would be really difficult for me to allow that. There are only eight teams in the league. There are four users with two teams each, all co-managing. 5 out of the 8 teams are being managed by a combination of those four people. Them reaching the semi-finals and probably even the final is guaranteed before the tournament even begins. I don't see how that can possibly be fair for the other three managers.

If this was a 12/14/16-team CL, I would've definitely allowed it. As I did for CLXVI. Eight is too small a number for me to allow that tho.

Champions League X8 is the eighteenth edition of PlanetCricket Champions League. A List-A franchise-based tournament featuring the top domestic sides from the world.
Eight teams will participate in this edition - two less than the previous edition in New Zealand. All matches will be played in five venues across five cities in Pakistan.

This will be the first time Pakistan plays hosts to the Champions League in the league's history. This wasn't possible because of continuous security concerns in the country.
A steady flourish in the general security of Pakistan allowed its premier franchise-league (PSL) to return to the country, paving the way for more international cricket.

CLX8 will be the first global tournament Pakistan hosts since the 2008 Asia Cup. CLX8 will feature eight teams - the top franchises from cricket leagues around the world.
It will also be the first season of the Champions League to feature runners-up from domestic List-A cricket leagues since Season IV, which was way back in late 2010.

Both the winners and runners-up from Elite League: Australia VII, Haier Cup Pakistan V and the inaugural Indian One-Day Championship will take part in this year's season.
Winners of Zimbabwe Premier League XVI and the inaugural edition of PC World League are also participants in CLX8 - Mashonaland Eagles and Durban Lions, respectively.

All eight participating teams will be split into two groups of four, with the top-two sides from each group progressing to the semi-finals. A preseason will also be played.
The preseason will function as warmups before the actual tournament begins. All matches will be List-A matches, and the final will be played at the National Stadium.
