Game is coming this Thurs to Pc and the consoles though its not yet listed on steam.There is a you tube video of some gameplay in career mode released today .Its looks ok but not vastly different from 2023.There seems to be some hype and excitement about this .I hope big ant don't screw it up.A(almost) fully functioning game from day one would indeed be a welcome change .If my memory serves me right the version that was showed off before afl 23 was not the version released for afl 23.I am not really inclined to spend £49.99 on another afl game so soon so lets see if the early reviews convince me otherwise.Historically the game afl 23 didn't discount until september and the grey sellers only had in dec jan so the price will be the price.

Most people are pretty hesitant to buy this even after the videos that surfaced yesterday, I watched a few videos and it still looks pretty stiff in terms of player movement etc. They really burned the fan base with the first game, most feel as though they should receive 26 for free as compensation, can't say I blame them really.

Yes despite what the poster was saying if you looked at it and didn't know you would think it's afl 23.Certainly the animation at the end of the quarter and commentary seem quite similar.Releases at 9am tomorrow melbourne time I think so we will know pretty soon.Still not up on steam at all.

Yes it should be discounted for people who have afl 23 in their library for more than 1 year

Launch seems mostly positive except for x box users they seem to have been given the wrong version. Will be able to have a go on steam version later tonight will give my thoughts on the basic game then

Well unfortunately the game seems to have bugs in many areas of the game and the goodwill and positivity seems to be evaporating fast.I have had a couple of games on the pc just a regular season and yes the game does feel better in every way but there is a horrible bug where the cpu just holds onto the ball eventually getting a htb penalty or if you move to quickly a 50 yard penalty,This is particularly bad when it happens towards the end of the game and the time ticks away.Hopefully they can fix it the manager modes,career modes and pro mode seem to have more crashes than the ave nascar race.

Patch has cleared up the holding the ball problem.Had a minor issue where the quarter time and half time animations were the opposition team-which happend to be Collingwood of all teams.It doesn't matter overall but it would be nice if everything worked as it should.Can't say anything about pro team,career or management as i haven't touched them.Will play out the season bringing glory to Carlton that we can only dream about in real life .
